Shark Black Friday Deals UK 2026: Which Shark Robot Vacuum to Buy and What to Pay

Which Shark robot vacuum is worth tracking this Black Friday, how to decode Shark’s confusing model numbers, and our target price so you can judge a genuine deal.

Shark is one of the biggest names in UK floorcare, and its robot vacuums are a regular fixture in Black Friday roundups. The appeal is real — Shark’s self-emptying robots undercut the premium brands while keeping features most people actually use. The catch is Shark’s model-code system, which is even more confusing than most: the same robot can appear under several codes depending on retailer and bundle. This guide covers the Shark robot vacuum we rate, how to read the model codes, and how to judge whether a Black Friday price is genuinely good.

A note on scope: we cover Shark’s robot vacuums here, and we review the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 in depth. Shark also makes corded and cordless stick vacuums and hair tools that we do not yet cover, so we will not pretend to rate them. For the full cross-category picture see our Black Friday deals hub, and for robot vacuums specifically the robot vacuum Black Friday guide.

When do Shark Black Friday deals start?

Black Friday 2026 is 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Shark robots typically start discounting in “Black Friday week” from around mid-November at Amazon, Currys, Very and Shark’s own site, with the keenest prices often landing just before the day itself rather than on it. Amazon’s October Prime event has carried Shark discounts before, so use any October price as your benchmark. Popular Shark robots do sell out, so if the model you want hits a genuine low, take it.

The Shark model-code maze

Shark’s robot naming is notoriously hard to follow. Robots appear under codes beginning RV, AV, AI, PV and more, and the same core robot can be sold under different codes with a different dock, a different bin, or a slightly different accessory bundle depending on the retailer. A lower price on a different code can mean a smaller self-empty base or no mopping — so the headline saving may not be comparing like with like.

  • Match the exact code, not the family name. “Shark Matrix” or “Shark robot” covers several variants — confirm the full code against the one you researched.
  • Check what’s in the box. Self-empty base, mopping pads and spare filters vary between bundles. A cheaper code may leave those out.
  • Check the dock type. Some codes come with a bagless base, others with bags you have to keep buying — factor the consumable cost in.

The Shark robot vacuum we rate

The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 is the Shark robot we recommend tracking. Its matrix-clean pattern covers floors in a grid rather than straight lines for more thorough pick-up, it mops as well as vacuums, and it empties itself into a base. It sits below the premium eufy and Roborock flagships on outright features, but it is usually a good deal cheaper — and in the sale it is a realistic sub-£300 buy.

To see how it compares with the self-emptying flagships, our best robot vacuums ranking puts it alongside the eufy Omni and Roborock Qrevo models, and the robot vacuum buying guide explains which features are worth paying for.

How to tell a genuine Shark deal

Because the codes move around so much, price-history checks matter more with Shark than almost any other brand. Look up the exact code on CamelCamelCamel (Amazon) or PriceSpy, compare against any October low, and make sure the “deal” code includes the dock and accessories you want. The card below gives our target price for the Matrix Plus so you have a clear test on the day.

Running costs and consumables

Robot vacuums are cheap to run — the electricity is pennies — but consumables add up: side brushes, filters, mop pads and, on bagged docks, the bags themselves. Price a year of those into any comparison. Our robot vacuum running cost guide covers the full picture at current UK rates.

Our shortlist and what counts as a genuine deal

These are the models from our reviews that are worth tracking in the sale. For each one we show the same five things, so you can judge any Black Friday price in a few seconds rather than trusting a “was” figure. We do not show live prices and we do not run a price-history tracker — so the “lowest price in the sale” links straight to a free price-history tool, and “what we would happily pay” is our own target for good value, not a price we have seen.

How to read each card: Typical price is the real price when we last checked (7 October 2026); weeks before the sale tells you whether the price usually moves; lowest in the sale is yours to check on the day via the price-history link; what we would happily pay is our value target; and is it a genuine deal? turns all of that into a simple yes/no test.

Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1Our pick

Matrix-clean grid cleaning plus mopping, with a self-empty base — the Shark robot we rate.

Typical price (checked 7 October 2026)£399
Price in the weeks before the saleUsually about the same — rarely moves far outside a sale
Lowest price we have seen in the saleUpdated through November — check live price history
What we would happily pay£280 or less
Is it a genuine deal?Yes if it beats £280 and undercuts any October low. At £399 it is the everyday price, not a deal.

Prices shown are the typical prices we recorded on 7 October 2026 and will drift over time. Always confirm the live price and recent price history on the retailer’s own site before buying. “What we would happily pay” is our editorial view of good value, not a guaranteed or observed sale price.

Frequently asked questions

When do Shark Black Friday deals start in 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Shark robot discounts typically begin in “Black Friday week” from around mid-November at Amazon, Currys, Very and Shark’s own site, with the best prices often just before the day itself.

Which Shark robot vacuum should I buy?

The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 is the Shark robot we rate — it vacuums in a matrix grid for thorough coverage, mops, and empties itself into a base. It undercuts the premium eufy and Roborock flagships and is a realistic sub-£300 buy in the sale.

Why are there so many Shark model codes?

Shark sells the same core robot under several codes depending on retailer and bundle, with differences in the dock, bin and accessories. Always match the exact code to the one you researched, and check what is included — a cheaper code may have a smaller base or no mopping.

Are Shark Black Friday deals genuine?

Many are, but check the price history on the exact code using CamelCamelCamel or PriceSpy and compare against any October low. Make sure the discounted code includes the dock and accessories you want, so you are comparing like with like.

Is a Shark robot vacuum as good as eufy or Roborock?

The premium eufy Omni and Roborock Qrevo models lead on outright features and docks, but they cost more. The Shark Matrix Plus offers most of what people use day to day for less, which makes it strong value in the sale. See our robot vacuum ranking for a direct comparison.
