Is the Santorini worth the extra over a standard Lay-Z-Spa?
Only if the massage matters to you. The HydroJets, seats and larger shell are the real differences; if you mainly want a warm soak with bubbles, a cheaper AirJet model does the same job.
Can the Santorini run from a normal plug?
Like other Lay-Z-Spa models it runs from a standard 13A socket. Use an outdoor-rated socket protected by an RCD, and avoid extension leads.
Does it have a long track record?
Not yet — it has only a handful of owner reviews at our last check, so treat long-term reliability as unknown and keep your receipt for the 2-year warranty.
How much space do I need?
Allow a firm, level area comfortably larger than 216cm square, with room to walk around it and remove the cover. Filled tubs are very heavy, so avoid decking unless it is rated for the load.
