Minky SureDri 4-Tier Heated Airer (Cover Included)

The SureDri 4-tier is the biggest airer in our line-up: 23 metres of drying space, a 20kg load limit and a heat-retaining cover in the box, with a programmable timer of up to nine hours. Minky's 'vertex' angled arms are designed to hold garments apart so air can move between them, which matters more than it sounds - the usual reason a heated airer disappoints is that people pack it. In use it measures 147 x 73.5 x 71cm, so it needs a decent-sized room or hallway. Power is 300W like most tiered models, so a six-hour run costs about 47p at 26.32p per kWh. For a family of four or five getting through several loads a week, the extra tier means fewer runs and a lower bill overall.
