This is the dehumidifier to buy if you need it to work in a garage, basement, conservatory or any unheated space. As a desiccant model, it operates effectively at temperatures as low as 1°C — where compressor dehumidifiers struggle or fail entirely. It extracts up to 11L per day from homes with up to 6 bedrooms, and the E7S smart technology automatically adjusts power between sampling, low and high modes based on humidity levels, saving energy when extraction isn't needed. The released air is slightly warm, which helps dry laundry and takes the edge off a cold room. At 7.5kg it's remarkably light for its capacity. The trade-off with all desiccant models is higher power consumption — 600W vs 200W for a compressor — but if your space is cold, a compressor won't work at all.
